Chasely recently graduated with a Juris Doctor from Bond University and has been admitted to practise as a solicitor. She also holds a Bachelor of Music (voice) from Central Queensland University where she majored in opera singing. Her areas of interest are criminal, domestic violence and family law.
Chasely was President of the Bond Asian Law Students Association and hosted events that promoted and encouraged cultural diversity within the law. Her interest in Asia has allowed her to study at CUPL (China University of Political Science and Law) in Beijing and complete courses in mandarin.
Chasely aims to support the AALA committee by increasing the awareness of the AALA and their work to students and members of the legal profession.
Outside of law, Chasely enjoys attending performances by Opera Queensland, walks along the Brisbane River and yoga.
