SIMRAN GOKLANEY
I am a student at the Queensland University of Technology, currently completing a double degree in Law and Business (International). I am passionate about social justice, the rule of law and policy, and have served in various capacities in the not-for-profit space and public law space.
Having completed a minor in law, technology and innovation, I also have a keen interest in the nexus of law and technology, specifically from a regulatory perspective. I have also assisted QUT academics with research in space.
I was born in India and can fluently speak Hindi and Sindhi. Through my involvement in the AALA, I hope to contribute to promoting a more representative and inclusive legal profession, and encourage students from minority groups to consider a career in law.
