Veena is a Special Counsel at Maddocks in Canberra who practices predominately in commercial property and probity.

She has spent most of her career working with large firms in Canberra, but also has experience working in UK and Perth. She sits on the ACT Law Society’s Council and was the former Chair of the ACT Law Society’s Inclusion & Diversity Committee (having been a member of that committee for 4 years since its inception).

She has seen the positive changes that diversity brings to the profession, and is keen to help ensure the profession becomes even more inclusive.
