FELICIA CHAN

Felicia is a lawyer at Corrs Chambers Westgarth in the Property and Infrastructure practice team with a focus on residential and commercial developments, commercial leasing, the sale and acquisition of commercial, retail and industrial properties and businesses and aged care regulatory advice.

Felicia has worked on various deals with prominent aged care providers and property developers, from initial instructions through to completion. Many of the deals she has worked on are complex and heavily negotiated with unique commercial structures and legal tenure contexts. Felicia also works closely with major banks to manage and negotiate high volume leasing portfolios nationally.

Felicia has a strong passion for giving back to the community and pioneering change in the legal profession, particularly in respect of cultural diversity, gender equality and breaking down unconscious bias. She hopes to shift the legal profession into one where more women are in positions of leadership, particularly women of colour.

Felicia devotes large amounts of her personal time to professional industry associations and mentoring. She is the Asian Australian Lawyers Association WA Branch Events Subcommittee Chair, member of the Corrs Cultural Diversity Steering Committee and a mentor through the UWA Women in Law and Blackstone mentoring schemes.
