JESSICA LE
Jess is an Associate in the Project Solutions team at MinterEllison. Jess has experience in mergers and acquisitions with a particular interest in the management of stakeholder relations. Jess has advised entities of varying sizes in the technology, retail, waste and energy industries on a range of regulatory and transactional matters. In recent times, Jess has advised on major infrastructure and renewable projects.
Jess has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from the University of Adelaide and completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the Australian National University. Jess was admitted to practice in Victoria in 2019 and in South Australia in 2020.
Prior to practicing as a legal practitioner, Jess worked in Senior Management at Telstra Corporation for a period of time. There, she sat on the Telstra State Leadership Board as its youngest member reporting to the CEO. Jess managed key stakeholder relations, Directorate funds, national and local sponsorship portfolios (AFL, NRL, A-League, Ticketek) and national to local partnerships, later taking on regional co-investment projects, with a key focus on agri-business and the industry verticals.
Born to Vietnamese immigrant parents here in Adelaide, Jess has been lucky and blessed to have a supportive network of mentors and leaders who have supported her throughout her career. Jess joins AALA with the hopes and views to provide the same support network and mentorship to the young professionals starting out in the profession.
