JULIA KAY LAMASAG

Julie Kay Lumasag is a solicitor at the Crown Solicitor's Office (SA) practising in the Civil Litigation Section. Julie Kay holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of International Studies from the University of Adelaide. She was admitted to practice in December 2021.

Julie Kay has a strong interest in celebrating diversity and reducing racial discrimination in the communities that she is a part of. As the former Vice President of the Adelaide University Filipino Club (AUFC), she has made efforts to do this by assisting Filipino international students in settling into Australian university life, and facilitating an environment where cultural appreciation could be fostered amongst students . Since graduating and starting her legal career, she has made it her goal in her position at AALA to continue to relay the message that obtaining an appreciation for diversity is, ultimately, beneficial to all.

Outside of work, Julie Kay loves a good karaoke sesh, a challenging pilates class and is a foodie at heart!
