MARCUS LIEW

Marcus is currently practising in the areas of Commercial & Corporate law with a focus on M&A, having gained his legal experience from overseas in a private specialist media and entertainment firm and then later in-house with Electronic Acts, the world’s largest gaming company, as part of their Asia Pacific Legal team. He holds a Bachelor of Laws and Arts, being admitted into practice 2006. With broad commercial and corporate experience, during his time in private practice, he represented a range of clients in the film, music,

and other creative industries. In his role with Electronic Arts, he was the Legal Approvals Manager Asia Pacific, supporting eleven territories throughout the region. Marcus played a major role in multiple departments within the company to ensure that the use of the company’s intellectual property was consistent with internal policy and local laws. Marcus enjoys spending time with his family, which includes his German Shepherd Miso, and regularly practices Pilates to keep his mind and body active. He is a long time Arsenal supporter and still brings up the glory days of the “Invincibles” whenever he can. Marcus is listed in Doyle’s Guide for Technology, Media and Telecommunications Lawyers - Rising Star for 2024.
