The Asian Australian Lawyers Association (AALA) congratulates Giridharan Sivaraman on his appointment as the new Australian Race Discrimination Commissioner.
“Through Mr Sivaraman's work, including as Chair of Multicultural Australia and his conduct of state and federal Race Discrimination cases, Mr Sivaraman's appointment gives us faith that Australians can expect to be robustly and fearlessly defended against race discrimination,” said AALA National Vice-President, Belinda Wong.
